Trump Calls For New Investments On Infrastructure

President Trump wants to get serious about renovating the nation's crumbling infrastructure.  Speaking at Trump Tower in New York on Tuesday, the President said the U.S. looks like a "third-world country."

The President said he signed an executive order aimed at cutting red tape on infrastructure projects.  He argued that it takes far too long to get projects off the ground.  Trump said the U.S. deserves world-class highways, bridges, rails and airports.  He noted that it can be done without damaging the environment.  The President is spending some time at home this week as he continues a working vacation.
