Anchorage police are investigating a homicide in the 5400 block of Taku Drive.
The first reports of shots fired in the area came in around 10:40 p.m. Monday, according to a release from the Anchorage Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a man shot in the upper body lying near the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
