The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported 27 new COVID-19 diagnoses in the state,the largest single-day increase to date.
The new cases were reported in eight communities:
Anchorage: 12
Eagle River: 3
Wasilla: 4
Kenai: 3
Homer: 2
Soldotna: 1
Anchor Point: 1
Kenai Peninsula Borough: 1
