Anchorage police are asking for the public's help to find a man who took off with a woman's purse after hitting her in the head with a gun in the parking lot of the Northway Mall Monday afternoon.
Around 12:58 p.m. a caller reported that there had been an armed robbery at the Shockwave Trampoline Park located at 3101 Pendland Parkway, APD spokesperson MJ Thim wrote in a Nixle alert. The female victim told police she was walking to her car when a male came up to her and demanded her purse. When she refused, he hit her in the back of the head with a gun and took off with her bright pink purse.
