A midtown shooting Sunday evening left one man dead at a trailer home in Spenard, Anchorage police said.
According to APD spokesman MJ Thim, a call reporting shots fired came in at about 8:15 p.m.; police found the victim dead in a home at at the Penguin Trailer Court, off Spenard Road near 36th Avenue.
Witnesses told police dispatchers that “they heard multiple shots and multiple people running in different directions,” Thim said.
