JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - The maker of the prescription opioid painkiller OxyContin is asking a judge in Alaska to dismiss a lawsuit that blames the company for the state's epidemic of opioid abuse.

Arguments are scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Anchorage.
