Anchorage police are investigating a homicide that took place in an East Anchorage home Thursday night, according to authorities.
APD said dispatch received a call about a shooting in the 1500 block of South Hoyt Street around 6:30 p.m.
Police say two adults males were at the residence when they got in a fight. "One male shot the other in the upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene," police wrote.
