Dunleavy holds firm in PFD size, says collaboration possible

He’s coming off a year of intense budget battles and firm differences over the size of the Permanent Fund dividend, all while fending off efforts to remove him from office.

But Gov. Mike Dunleavy says it’s business as usual when he and the Legislature return to Juneau for another session.

“The whole recall effort is certainly, it’s a distraction, but we’ve been pretty focused on carrying out our duties as governor and moving Alaska forward,” he said.
