Gov. Mike Dunleavy hinted at the possibility of another Permanent Fund dividend this fall, in addition to the one already set to begin paying out in July.
During a virtual town hall meeting Thursday, the governor replied when asked for his view on the idea.
“We’re going to have those conversations with the Legislature as we go into the summer. The session just ended, and we did move that up to July 1, the scheduled October dividend payment, but we still want to have that discussion. We’re still going to pursue the dividend.
