A small plane crashed in Boca Raton, Florida, on Friday (April 11), resulting in at least three fatalities. The Cessna 310R aircraft was airborne for less than 20 minutes before crashing near North Military Trail and Butts Road around 10:30 a.m., according to local police. The crash site showed flaming debris scattered across the roadway, with the plane reportedly hitting a car and pushing it onto railroad tracks.
Witnesses reported hearing a loud noise and seeing smoke billowing from the crash site. The fire caused by the crash has since been extinguished. The National Transportation Safety Board announced that it will investigate the incident to determine the cause of the crash.
