Sure, manspreading is down but HERE'S the real win for women

Here's another victory for tone-deaf feminists here in America: Manspreading is on the decline. Meanwhile, Muslim women in India have just been given the legal right to have a say in their own divorce.

Yesterday, the Indian government outlawed the "triple talaq," a form of instant divorce in Islam. Until now, Muslim men have legally been allowed to instantly divorce their wives simply by repeating the word three times. How's that for women's rights? Or human rights for that matter.

Talk about "mansplaining," this is the ultimate form of mansplaining.

And why haven't 4th Wave feminists like Linda Sarsour taken to the streets to protest this vile treatment of women? Oh. Never mind. I know why.

It's worth mentioning that the bill faced a lot of opposition, both among the public and within the government, meaning that there is a problem of widespread systemic misogyny in India. Hmm. Seems like something that the protestors from the Kavanaugh hearings should be riled up by, on account of their convictions to fight the Patriarchy and the oppression of women. They are concerned about those things, right? Because, I can tell you, a country—a region, really—with habitual, government-wide oppression of women is a much bigger problem than Brett Kavanaugh.

It's not dress up time with The Handmaid's Tale.

You know those dramatic outfits that some of the protestors wore for the Kavanaugh hearing? Yeah, Muslim women throughout the Middle East and Asia have to wear much worse than that on a daily basis. Only, they wear it for real. It's not dress up time with The Handmaid's Tale. No, it's much worse. It's a living Hell. For women. Millions of women. Tens of millions of women. Maybe more.

But that doesn't seem to matter as much as flooding the streets and screaming "Orange Man Bad!"
