The Municipality of Anchorage has passed its biggest budget yet. On Tuesday, the Assembly approved $520 million in spending for the next fiscal year.

It includes more money to tackle homelessness within the muni, additional funding for law enforcement, new revenue from a tax on gasoline, expenses associated with the city's new SAP payroll system and a reduction in the tax burden for private property owners -- to the tune of $300 to $400 a household.

In a live interview with KTVA Sunday, Mayor Ethan Berkowitz explains how Anchorage taxpayer dollars will be spent.
