4.5 quake rattles Southcentral Alaska

An earthquake briefly shook Southcentral Alaska and was felt in Anchorage Sunday evening.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.5 struck at 9:19 p.m., roughly 20 miles west of Anchorage at a depth of just over 34 miles.
