Kenai Peninsula school closure, cancellations and restrictions
The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District has closed Cooper Landing School on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
The district also canceled travel for school activities until further notice:
"Activity related travel between Sterling and Cooper Landing on Sterling Highway between MP 45-71 is [canceled] until further notice. Local air quality and predictions will determine if OUTDOOR activities and athletics at or hosted by KPBSD schools are restricted."
